Bjerge Nordstrand is a beautiful fine sand beach on the west coast of Zealand, facing the Great Belt (Storebælt), between Kalundborg and Slagelse. The beach offers clear water and a pleasant family-friendly setting with a gently sloping sandy bottom. The spot is popular with kitesurfers and windsurfers who enjoy the cross-shore winds from the Great Belt.

Gently sloping sandy bottom, ideal for beginners. Chop builds in sustained winds with small waves in the Great Belt. Clear water with little current under normal conditions.
Watch out for swimmers in summer. Currents possible in strong winds in the Great Belt strait. Some isolated rocks on certain beach sections.
