Overview

Klitmøller, nicknamed "Cold Hawaii", is Denmark's most famous kitesurf and windsurf spot. Located on the northwest coast of Jutland in Thy National Park, it offers powerful waves and consistent North Sea winds. Spot reserved for intermediate to expert riders.

Cold waters (12-17°C in summer) with powerful waves. Full wetsuit required all year round.

On the spot in the village, several parking areas, do not disturb the residents.
Wind specificities

Prevailing west and northwest winds, 15 to 30 knots on average. Works best from WSW to NW.

Hazards

Shallow reef, risk of contact after a wipeout. Booties recommended. Dangerous "Washing Machine" zone.
