Rudkøbing is a spot on the west coast of Langeland, facing the strait towards Tåsinge and Funen. The spot works mainly in N, SW, NW and NNW winds. The strait is an active shipping channel — watch out for ferries and ships. Sandy beach with some stones, limited launch area.

Flat to choppy water in the sheltered strait between Langeland and Tåsinge. Shallow waters. No tidal influence. Clean water. Choppier conditions in strong winds.
Ship and ferry traffic — stay away from shipping channels when ferries are in sight. Buoys and wave breakers in the water near the harbour. Stones on the beach — booties recommended. Rigging area on grass, limited space. Beach busy with non-kiters in June-July.
