Kandestederne is a spot on the north coast of Jutland, between Hirtshals and Skagen, facing the Skagerrak. Wild sandy beach in a preserved natural setting. The coast faces north/northwest here, which changes the favorable wind directions compared to the west coast. Cape Hirtshals blocks the southwest swell. Currents become increasingly chaotic and dangerous near the northern tip of Denmark.
