Keldsnor Fyr is located at the southern tip of Langeland, near the 34 m lighthouse (1905). Versatile spot with ocean on one side and a flat water lake on the other. Exposed to winds from the east and south over a wide arc. The rocky bottom and currents make it a spot to approach with caution.
Sea side: chop to medium waves depending on wind. Depth increases quickly near the coast. Compressed reef formations. Lake side: flat water ideal for learning. Rocky bottom (pebbles to large granite chunks) and eelgrass beds. No tidal influence.
