Ebensee is located at the southern end of Traunsee, Austria's deepest lake (191 m) in the Salzkammergut. The spot benefits from the thermal wind that develops in the afternoon during summer, channeled between the mountains along the lake's north-south axis. The water is cold and very deep. The spot is suited for intermediate and advanced riders.
