Overview

Maurach SĂĽd is another launch point on the southern shore of Achensee in Tyrol. Like other Achensee spots, it benefits from the very regular northerly thermal wind in summer. The lake is deep with crystal clear, cold water. The alpine setting between the Karwendel and Rofan ranges is exceptional. This spot is suited for intermediate riders.
