Adam's Bridge is the famous chain of sandbanks and shallow waters stretching from Talaimannar in Northern Province toward India. The area offers unique shallow water kite riding over the submerged land bridge. SW monsoon winds blow from May to October.

An intermediate to advanced spot due to strong tidal currents and the remote location. The extremely shallow water over the sandbanks creates almost flat water conditions in places. Sandy bottom throughout. Currents can be very strong and change direction with the tides. No rescue options - only for experienced, self-sufficient riders. A truly unique kite experience.
