Overview

Aqua Outback is a kitesurfing spot located near Tuticorin (Thoothukudi) on the southeast coast of Tamil Nadu, India. The area faces the Gulf of Mannar and the Bay of Bengal, receiving strong NE monsoon winds from October to March. This spot is part of a small but growing kite scene in southern Tamil Nadu.

The NE monsoon can bring powerful winds of 15-25 knots, creating excellent kitesurfing conditions. The area offers flat to moderately choppy water. Sandy bottom. The warm tropical water means no wetsuit is needed year-round. Suitable for intermediate riders.
