Shannah is a kitesurfing spot located on the east coast of Oman, facing Masirah Island. This fishing village is the departure point for the ferry to Masirah and offers its own water body for kitesurfing. Southwest winds (Khareef) blow from June to September. Northeast winds dominate in winter. The water body is open with a sandy bottom. A convenient spot for kitesurfers in transit to Masirah.
