The story of Monki

In the heart of the vibrant Occitanie region, bordered by the blue waters of the Mediterranean, our school Monki - Montpellier Kitesurf, familiarly known as Monki, was born in the emblematic seaside town of Palavas Les Flots. Founded in 2020, our establishment quickly distinguished itself as a beacon of excellence dedicated to board sports. Embracing the cultural and maritime heritage of Montpellier, the Camargue, as well as the departments of Hérault and Gard, we have made it our mission to share the passion for water sports: from kitesurfing to stand up paddle, including the revolutionary disciplines of wingfoil and wingsurf.


Our site allows board riding enthusiasts, whether beginners or experienced, to discover and master the art of electric foil in a safe environment conducive to adventure. Each team member is a seasoned guide, striving to offer top-notch coaching, whether it's lessons for children or adults, teambuilding experiences for companies, or programs designed for families.


In our quest for excellence and innovation, we have developed the OUTPAK project - a nautical center aiming for energy and water self-sufficiency, thus illustrating our commitment to sustainability and respect for our magnificent environment. This initiative represents our vision for the future of water sports and our community: a perfect harmony between the passion for board sports and nature preservation. By offering special deals for company committees and organizing team building events, we have become a hub of choice for professionals and companies looking to strengthen bonds between their employees.


Our privileged location, not far from emblematic places such as l'Espiguette, Port Camargue and Plage des Aresquiers, makes us an essential Boardriding Pro center in the South of France.
